Dear friend (David Bowie 8.1.’47 – 10.1.’16).

Dear, dear David.

Dear lifelong friend, you died so silently, so there was nothing to prepare me for the hole in my chest when I heard the heartbreaking news. And that just 2 days after releasing your latest album “Black Star”. You even made your final transition into a work of art! I admire you so much and I want to thank you for being there for me during my whole life, with your unique musical talent and personality….you brought colour and joy to my life during all my highs and lows! Your alter egos will live on forever, but I will remember David…my best friend! You are a star now David, a Blackstar…but still shining bright! And please don’t be afraid to come down and blow my mind every now and then!

There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He’d like to come and meet us
But he thinks he’d blow our minds
There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He’s told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
