UPDATE ON HOW “THE ELEPHANT” LOOKS.

Hi, everybody,
via this way, I would like to thank everybody for all the well wishes that I received! It’s now two and a half weeks since my second back operation and so far things are going as planned. Now I can only wait and hope that this operation will really help to solve the nerves pain problems that I have been having for so long! But that might take a while, so I do what I can do, to fill my days. But being able to look at this tree every day, makes up for a lot!

This picture is shot a couple of days ago. And the lower branch, that was trimmed back a lot, is filling out nicely. I like the wilder and more mature image of “THE ELEPHANT”. I can’t wait to see it in a couple of years!

  1. Hans, two years ago I read your 2 needle pine article and followed your instructions with amazing results! up until then, I struggled with pines. Everything turned out just as you state in your article! Thanks you – you don’t know how much you helped me. You mention a slight change in practice for Austrian pines. I have been focusing on Mugo and Scots, but want to try Austrian. What changes do I have to make to your practices to get the same great results from Austrian pines?
    Best Regards,
    Mike
